Make an impact and accelerate your career with a master’s degree from OCAD U.
OCAD University is Canada’s oldest and biggest art and design university. We’re a world-famous hub for digital media, art, design, research, innovation and creativity. At OCAD U, our unique graduate programs can help you make an impact in the contemporary art world. We’re located in downtown Toronto’s cultural district. OCAD U has small class sizes, renowned faculty, a tight-knit community of diverse artists and scholars and programs you won’t find anywhere else.
If you’re interested in making or studying art, this is the place to be. OCAD U professors, students and grads are the country’s best artists, designers, makers and cultural thinkers. As a student at OCAD U, you’ll be part of Toronto’s dynamic art and design community (the biggest in Canada) and get connections to galleries, festivals and exhibitions.
Become a global leader in the emerging field of inclusive design, an innovator and creator of digital media and new technologies, a professional artist and designer with an expanded and interdisciplinary practice, a curator at an art gallery, an expert in design strategy and foresight thinking or a health designer in North America’s only interdisciplinary Design for Health program. Many of our graduates also go on to pursue PhDs at universities around the world in cultural studies or contemporary art.
Even better, about 2 of every 3 students receive a scholarship. Learn more about funding opportunities here.
