Why study a Masters in Clay & Stone Crafts?

## Training covers a broad range of methods, techniques and theoretical approaches. These include approaches in sculpture and installation, to studio ceramic and design for products in the commercial industries. You will establish your own studio-based practise through an analysis of aesthetics and design, particularly in contemporary practise. Through an analysis of cultural and critical perspectives, you will also advance your contextual knowledge of Clay & Stone Crafts. This will include gathering data in the form of archival material, artefacts and literary resources. You could use this experience to work independently upon graduation, exhibiting your own work across different galleries. Or, you may choose to form a collective of practitioners or join a guild to develop an artistic aim, such as a community art project.
