FindAMasters Terms & Conditions for Advertisers

Definitions

FAU - FindAUniversity Ltd - the owners of FindAMasters.

Advertisers - University departments, schools or faculties, or research institutes registered with FindAMasters.

Public Area - The area of FindAMasters that students (and any other visitors) see.


Terms & Conditions

FindAMasters offers the following services to its advertisers:

Course listings

Course listing accounts run for a 12 month period from the date the account was ordered (or the renewal date for existing accounts).

You may only list Pre-Masters, Postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma, Masters Degree, MBA, Professional Doctorate, PGCE, or LLM courses. All courses must be accredited by a government-backed accreditation scheme.

FindAMasters may not be used to list PhD opportunities.

Department/School/Faculty Accounts

Premium10 account holders may list up to 10 courses at any one time, Premium20 account holders may list up to 20 courses at any one time, etc. If the number of courses listed exceeds this at any time during the subscription period then FindAMasters reserves the right to impose a surcharge equivalent to the cost of listing the extra courses for a full 12 months.

Institution Wide Premium Accounts

Premium75 account holders may list up to 75 courses at any one time, Premium100 account holders may list up to 100 courses at any one time, etc. If the number of courses listed exceeds this at any time during the subscription period then FindAMasters reserves the right to impose a surcharge equivalent to the cost of listing the extra courses for a full 12 months.

Additional features available to Premium account holders such as Open Day listings, Scholarship Details, Student Profiles and Video content are provided at the discretion of FindAMasters and the way this information is presented in the course listings may be altered without notice. Word limits and other conditions may apply to these features and these are described in the relevant sections of the advertisers’ admin area and may be subject to change at any time.

Advertisers are responsible for keeping the information they present on FindAMasters up to date. FAU reserve the right to remove courses from FindAMasters if the information provided appears out of date, inaccurate or otherwise breaches these terms and conditions.

Display Advertising

Display Adverts can only link to listings within the FindAMasters database or other type of advert hosted on FindAMasters.

Buttons and banners are usually designed by our in-house team. Whatever the source of the ad, it is the advertiser’s responsibility to ensure that the appropriate rights have been obtained for use of any images or logos that make up the button or banner. FAU retain copyright on any buttons, banners or other creatives that FAU produces on your behalf. Their use is licenced for FindAMasters only. Advertisers wishing to use any of our creatives on their own sites should contact info@findamasters.com.

Featured Open Days & Institution Profiles

Featured Open Day and Institution Profile adverts are designed by our in-house team. Whatever the source of the ad, it is the advertiser's responsibility to ensure that the appropriate rights have been obtained for use of any images or logos used in the page.

Custom Ad Pages

Custom pages are designed by our in-house team. Whatever the source of the ad, it is the advertiser's responsibility to ensure that the appropriate rights have been obtained for use of any images or logos used in the page.

Acceptable content for Custom pages is at the discretion of FAU. 

Audience Extension

FAU will deliver the agreed number of ad impressions in the territories requested by the client over the time period required. The proportion of ads delivered in each territory will vary. In rare circumstances FAU may not be able to deliver the requested number of impressions in the time provided. Under these circumstances FAU will either credit the Advertiser for the undelivered portion of the itinerary or extend the duration of the campaign as required.

Artwork for Audience Extension campaigns should be supplied by the advertiser or can be produced by our team for an additional fee. It is the advertiser's responsibility to ensure that the appropriate rights have been obtained for use of any images or logos used

Quotes

Prices quoted are valid for 30 days. Time slots for emails and display advertising are subject to availability. To be sure that your advertising can run when you want it to then please confirm your booking as soon as possible.

Bookings

Please note bookings are made for the dates specified on your order only and cannot be changed without 30 days notice.

Any changes to your booking dates are subject to availability and if no alternative is available then the original booking dates will stand (see Amendments below).

All artwork/copy should be delivered to us 1 week prior to campaign start date and as per the Specification Guidelines supplied upon booking.

Email Campaigns - Failure to supply copy/artwork which results in missing the send date will incur the full fee (see Cancellations below). We will endeavor to offer an alternative send date, but these will be subject to an Amendment Surcharge (see below).

Display Advertising & Audience Extension - If you are unable to adhere to the copy deadline(s) and this results in a delay in the agreed start date(s), you are liable to lose time on the agreed campaign length or will be subject to the amendment surcharges detailed below.


Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled without charge with the provision of 60 days notice prior to the start date.

A Cancellation fee will apply for other Cancellations as set out below:

  • 30-59 Days notice – Cancellation fee equivalent to 20% of the order value
  • 15-29 Days notice – Cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the order value
  • 14 Days or less notice – Cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the order value

Amendments to Booking Dates

Any changes to your booking dates are subject to availability and if no alternative is available then the original booking dates will stand. Please note that dates for solus email campaigns are often booked up well in advance and alternatives may be hard to find.

You can make amendments to the dates when your campaign will run at no charge providing alternative dates are available and you are able to provide 30 days notice.

An amendment fee will apply for booking date changes as set out below:

  • 15-29 Days’ notice – Amendment surcharge equivalent to 20% of the order value
  • 14 Days or less notice – Amendment surcharge equivalent to 50% of the order value
