Masters Degrees in Inorganic Chemistry

We have 40 Masters Degrees in Inorganic Chemistry

Masters degrees in Inorganic Chemistry provide advanced study of inorganic (non-living) elements, compounds and reaction mechanisms. Programmes include taught MSc courses and research-based MRes and MPhil degrees. Entry requirements normally include an undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering.

Why study a Masters in Inorganic Chemistry?

## You will be trained in numerous approaches to chemical synthesis to study the nature and behaviour of various inorganic chemicals, and apply these techniques to modern-day necessities. You will also explore atomic and molecular approaches such as ionisation, as well as sampling, imaging and data collection. The skills you will gain through this Masters may be applied to various industries and practices. These could include developing approaches in agriculture (such as the creation of pesticides), drug development, and branches of materials science including the production of surfactants and protective coatings. Potential roles may be within commercial industries, producing and manufacturing items such as detergents and food preservatives. Or, you may work within research institutes, testing compounds for use in products such as pharmaceuticals or cosmetics. A Masters in this field would also provide an excellent foundation for further PhD level research.
