Understanding how to access different types of postgraduate funding can be confusing – but we can help. Our dedicated funding webinars will help you get to grips with UK & international funding & scholarship opportunities, and you can chat directly with universities to find out what they can offer. PLUS, all fair attendees will receive a copy of our 2021 Funding Guide after the event to read at your leisure.

Choose the right virtual fair for you

The fair on Tuesday 27 April will focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics & Medicine subjects. Attend on Wednesday 28 April if you’re interested in Business, Management, Law, Art, Humanities and Social Sciences subjects. Once in the fair, you will be able to use a keyword search to see which universities have Masters and PhDs in the subject(s) you’re interested in.

Each fair will take place 11am-3.30pm BST

You can join any time throughout the fair but make sure you leave plenty of time to chat to all the universities you want to before the fair closes. You’ll be able to download any information and conversations you have for future reference.

You’ll need to register beforehand

It’s completely free to attend, but you’ll need to register before to secure your place and ensure faster entry into the virtual study fair on the day. Once registered you’ll receive more details about how to log in and join the fair.

Postgrad LIVE Virtual Study Fair takes place over two days. Exhibiting universities and webinars will differ on each day as their content will be tailored to your subject area interests. Please attend the fair on the day that is relevant to you – Tuesday 27 April for STEM & Medicine subjects or Wednesday 28 April for Business, Law, Social Sciences, Arts, Management & Humanities subjects.

This masterclass will help you better understand exactly what a proposal should and shouldn’t be, including useful hints & tips related to your subject area to ensure your proposal stands out.

12.30pm - 1.15pm

Masters study 101 – Applications, student finance, and scholarships

This comprehensive session will explain how Masters study works, highlight the key differences between undergrad and postgrad programmes, show you how to put together a strong application, and introduce funding options such as student finance, scholarships and charitable grants.

1.30pm - 2.00pm

Panel Q&A: International study 101 - Applications, funding, fees, and everything you need to know about studying abroad. Sponsored by THE Student

Our panel of international university representatives will help you navigate through the application process for postgraduate study abroad, answer questions about funding and fees, and provide you with their tips for moving to a new country for Masters or PhD study.

2.15pm - 3pm

Spotlight on Masters study in Medicine / Business

Find out what it’s like to study a Masters in Medicine (Tuesday 27) or Business (Wednesday 28) in the UK. Our subject experts will guide you through the postgraduate student journey from applications to employment.

Finding and funding your PhD

This session will introduce applications and funding work at PhD level, explaining the different types of project and programme you can apply for and walking through the main funding options for your specific subject area.
