## A Masters in this field will allow you to specialise in a variety of ionising and non-ionising imaging methods including electrical, microwave, magnetic, acoustic, ultrasound and optical techniques. These techniques offer insights into the into cellular, and molecular and functionality of biological processes, as well as biomaterials and biomechanical procedures such as synthetic tissue engineering. You will be trained in pre-clinical methodologies, including the use of surgical imaging instrumentation and other medical equipment. This includes analysis of the development of biosensors for detecting, monitoring and preventing illnesses such as cancer, heart disease and neurodegeneration.
