Student Profiles

Houda Turjman (MSc Biomedical Engineering)

Graduated in 2020

Pursuing my master's at two universities allowed me to participate in a wide range of projects, presentations, and practical assignments that introduced me to new aspects in our field and boosted my competencies and skills, as well as friendships. The university staff and professors never failed to find ways to motivate us during difficult times and were always available and ready to respond and help. To me, this experience will forever be special.

Seyedeh Hiva Houshyar Yazdian (MSc Biomedical Engineering)

I want to strongly emphasize that VUB has well-equipped laboratories and experienced professors. Also, its multicultural environment is very compatible with my ethics. My programme is a joint one between VUB and Gent University, which are highly-ranked universities in Europe. I like that our department always tries to make us aware of the next step in our career, finding a job or doing a PhD.
