Masters Degrees in Travel Management

We have 40 Masters Degrees in Travel Management

Masters degrees in Travel Management provide advanced training in the management, organisation and regulation of the travel industry. Courses are typically taught MSc degrees, though research programmes offering MRes and MPhil qualifications may be available at some institutions. Entry requirements normally include an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject, and suitable work experience in some cases.

Why study a Masters in Travel Management?

## Travel Management is a highly diverse field, allowing you to specialise in a number of areas. For example, you may wish to focus specifically on air travel management, or maritime travel such as cruise ships. Across different specialisations, you will receive training in travel economics, particularly financial planning, marketing and commercialisation. You will also explore the sustainability of different travel networks, analysing the policies and regulations which govern them. Some courses may offer vocational training through an industrial placement where you will experience operations management and business strategy first-hand. Careers may include executive roles in holiday resorts, legislative roles within travel agencies and governing bodies, or consultancy for commercial businesses. Your Masters would also provide you with an excellent basis to progress onto PhD study, for example researching international development.
