Why study a Masters in Stage Management?
## You will develop the skills to manage stage performances across a range of industries, exploring the artistic, social and economic conditions which affect stage management practices. For example you may scrutinise performances in different locations, from traditional theatre stages to museums, art galleries and other public spaces. Practical and theoretical concepts in management strategies will also be explored, from scheduling and finance, to client liaison and staff procurement. Operations management, particularly health and safety, risk management and logistics are also a key component. Your expertise would make you suitable roles in theatre, dance performance and even music festivals. For example, there may be potential for you to work for large festival organisations, both locally and internationally. You could also organise corporate events and ceremonies, work with performing arts organisations, or manage sets for film and TV.MA - Stage and Production Management
