About the course

The Scholarships are allocated to applicants on the basis of their academic merit. Allocation will be decided on assessment of the following;

- Holds at least a 1st class degree or equivalent
- Has full time work experience of at least one year in an international organisation with operations in more than one country. The candidate will require a reference letter from the organisation
- 500 word write up on your personal impact on the organisation
- Self-funded student

**Please note that this scholarship cannot be combined with any other Coventry University scholarship. In cases where an applicant is awarded more than one Coventry University award, the award which provides the greatest benefit to the student will apply.

The decision to award a student this scholarship is at the sole discretion of Coventry University. Coventry University reserves the right to award less than 1 scholarship from each category.

Postgraduate awards

The Academic Dean Postgraduate Scholarship is available to all UK, EU and International self-funded students applying for full-time postgraduate courses who have submitted an application for study before 8 February 2018 at a value of up to £3000.

The Scholarships are allocated to applicants on the basis of their academic merit. Allocation will be decided on assessment of the following;

- Holds at least a 1st class degree or equivalent
- 500 words statement of support
- Self-funded student

The Academic Dean Postgraduate Scholarship is available to all UK, EU and International self-funded students applying for full-time postgraduate courses who have submitted an application for study before 8 February 2018.

Application Procedure

Please note that this scholarship cannot be combined with any other Coventry University scholarship. In cases where an applicant is awarded more than one Coventry University award, the award which provides the greatest benefit to the student will apply.

The decision to award a student this scholarship is at the sole discretion of Coventry University. Coventry University reserves the right to award fewer scholarships from each category than the total number available.

The MSc Academic Performance Scholarship is available to all International self-funded students who have applied for a postgraduate course at Coventry University London.

Allocation of scholarships will be decided on assessment of the following;

Holds a 2:1 or equivalent
Understanding of the course and motivation to study at Coventry University London
Extra-curricular activities or work experience
Limitations

Application Procedure

The great thing about this award is that no separate application is required to be considered for an MSc Academic Performance Scholarship. All applications for study at Coventry University London from self-funded international students that are received prior to the deadline will be considered. For October 2018 entry, the deadline is 25th July 2018, and for January 2019 entry, the deadline is 30th November 2018. If you are successful you will be notified in due course. Good luck!

Coventry University London has partnered with alumni and award-winning Malaysian film star Joey Leong to launch the Joey Leong Coventry University London scholarship for October 2018 entry.

Joey Leong, whose filmography includes blockbuster Asian movies such as Blood Ties (2009), The Second Coming (2013) and Our Sister Mambo (2015), recently graduated from a one-year top-up course at Coventry University London and will received a BA Honours degree in Global Business.

During her time at Coventry University London, Joey held the role of International Student Ambassador, helping to develop relationships between the Coventry University Group and Malaysia’s Higher Education institutions.

Eligibility

Available to self-funded Malaysian nationals only
Academic requirements: Pass the STPM with a minimum of BBBB OR pass the UEC Senior Level with Grade A2 or above (80%) in at least 5 relevant subjects not including English or Malay (students must also provide Junior Level transcript or certificate)
English language requirements: IELS 6.0 with 5.5 minimum in each component.
Submit a 500 words statement on how you plan to use your skills to contribute to Malaysia’s economic growth
Complete and submit the scholarship application form by the deadline
