You can speak one-to-one with a career specialist, with tailored support for both taught master’s and research courses.

You will have access to a specialist academic writing support and mathematics/statistics support in our nationally recognised Sigma centre.
We’re the university chosen by Coventry locals as well as students from over 130 countries. If you’re from outside the UK and on one of our postgraduate courses, you could apply for UK-based work experience. The Centre for Global Engagement (CGE) has a dedicated team that offers work opportunities, including short-term and long-term individual or group placements. These opportunities are a great way to gain employability skills, a reference from a UK employer or CGE, and practice your English. As a university with a diverse population, we run various projects promoting multiculturalism.

Coventry School of Art and Design has an excellent reputation for its research and related postgraduate study activities. It has consistently scored highly in the national research assessment exercises and has an international reputation for areas of its design research and art practice. Staff responsible for developing and delivering our postgraduate programmes of study are leaders in their fields and many are noted for their media and digitally related work, some of which receives international acclaim.
Our artists exhibit and perform worldwide in professional venues, our designers are commissioned by leading companies and deliver publicly funded consultancy services. Our postgraduate provision comprises a range of taught masters degree courses. Students come form all over the world to carry out individual research projects, which lead to Master of Philosophy (MPhil) or doctorate (PhD) awards, under the supervision of our specialist staff.
The Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing is a large applied scientific and technological centre for learning and research. Activities range from mathematics to civil engineering and building, computer science to mechanical engineering, engineering and knowledge management to aerospace, to name a few.
September 2012 saw the opening of the new £55 million centre for the Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing. The building is innovative inside and out, using a range of technologies including rainwater harvesting, solar thermal energy and biomass boilers.
Internally, the space provides a completely fresh approach to support new ways of learning.
