Scholarship details
Scholarships of £1,900 are available to new students joining one of our online programmes in January 2027.
MSc Applied Statistics (online)
MSc Applied Statistics in Health Sciences (online)
MSc Applied Statistics in Finance (online)
MSc Applied Statistics with Data Science (online)
Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to candidates who demonstrate excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained) and any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience.
Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis. Awards may be allocated early in the application cycle and so making an early application for admission is advised.
To be considered for a Faculty of Science Online Masters Scholarship - January intake, candidates must:
be a new student holding an offer of admission for an online MSc in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics for January 2027 entry.
be self-funded. Students who receive full scholarships, for example from a government office or embassy, will not be eligible.
A link to the scholarship application form will be included in an applicant’s offer of admission.
