Humanities & Social Sciences Dean's International Excellence Scholarship, January 2027

University of Strathclyde

Scholarship details

The scholarship is open now for all international (non-EU) Postgraduate Taught Masters students joining eligible programmes within the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences in January 2027. Awards will be assessed on merit, rather than financial need, to candidates who demonstrate in their programme application, excellent academic performance (current and/or previously gained) and any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience.

Important things to note:

Separate applications are not necessary and you will be automatically considered based on your programme application and supporting documents.
To be considered for a scholarship an applicant must hold an offer to study a full-time attendance course in the 2026/27 academic year.
Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.
Online, blended learning programmes, PG Diplomas, PG Certificates, PGDE and MSW Social Work programmes are not eligible for these scholarships.
To receive their scholarship, awardees must enrol in studies commencing in January 2027 and continue to meet all of the above eligibility criteria. Scholarships are non-transferable and will be forfeited if the recipient defers their admission to a later academic year or transfers to a different programme or Faculty after enrolment.
Scholarship recipients will be expected to engage with student ambassador activities during their course of study, such as supporting student recruitment activities and events.
The Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences’ decision on the awarding of scholarships is final.
Available to self-funded applicants only.
