The School of Education at the University of Sheffield offers postgraduate courses of the highest quality to foster critical and informed engagement with educational theory, policy and practice. Research which makes a difference is central to all our teaching.

Our programmes are taught by tutors who are active in their respective research areas, and are well known, nationally and internationally for their work. Students on the postgraduate programmes are therefore given the opportunity to learn about high-quality research as it is being conducted. They are also supported in carrying out their own research studies in their own professional work contexts.
