Scholarship value
£1,500 for Full Time UK students

£750 per year for Part Time UK students

£3,000 for Full Time Overseas students

The University is offering scholarships for 2026 to support our final year undergraduate students choosing to progress to postgraduate study at Kent. These awards are part of Kent’s efforts to support excellence in academia and facilitate a better tomorrow . They are designed to help you achieve your career goals and ambitions.

For September 2026 entrants, these scholarships provide £1,500 towards the cost of tuition fees for 40 UK students, and £3,000 towards the cost of tuition fees for 20 Overseas students.

This scholarship is available for current final year Kent undergraduate students only.

Eligible candidates must:

Be progressing directly from undergraduate to postgraduate study at Kent.
Begin postgraduate study in September 2026.
Have achieved at least a 2.1 in undergraduate programme.
Have received an unconditional offer for a programme by the deadline 16 July 2026. If you have not received an unconditional offer (or a conditional offer where the only outstanding condition(s) is your fee deposit and/or your final results), the application will be rejected and the next eligible candidate will be selected.
Postgraduate Taught or Research Master’s programmes are eligible.

MArch students who are direct entrants from an UG degree are eligible.

Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma Students are not eligible.

Students in receipt of this award are not permitted to also hold the Kent Graduate BAME in Higher Education Scholarship or the Widening Participation Ambition Scholarship. Successful applicants to multiple awards must confirm which award they want and any remaining scholarships will be made available to a reserve candidate.

This award cannot be used in conjunction with any other complete fee waiver.

Scholarships will be allocated to eligible candidates in the order the applications are received, therefore early application is recommended.

Undergraduates applying to study at any of the following University of Kent campuses are eligible to apply:

Canterbury
Medway

NOTE: If you have not yet received your final certificate, please do still apply for this scholarship if you believe that you are eligible. We will review your application based on your final marks.

Applications should be made via your application portal, where will be able to view any scholarships for which you may be eligible to apply. You will need to have received a formal offer for your programme in order to submit a scholarship application.

No applications will be accepted before the application window opens or after the closing date.

Students must have an unconditional firm offer for their programme by the closing date.

This is subject to University of Kent Terms and Conditions which will be provided to successful candidates at the point of award.
