The College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences at the University of Exeter offers you the chance to study at postgraduate level in a supportive environment with excellent facilities and amenities. We have excellent standards of teaching and research and a strong postgraduate community. Our location offers you the security and atmosphere of a separate campus, but within walking distance of Exeter City Centre. We also offer programmes at our Penryn Campus, near Falmouth in Cornwall.

The essence of our disciplines is echoed in the overarching identity of the College of Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences; we pride ourselves in being original thinkers, with a taste for curiosity partnered with strong entrepreneurial vision.

We have a collective of expert researchers from all corners of the globe. Combined they are significant contributors, answering the big questions of today. Our research expertise includes modelling climate change, creating sustainable urban water supplies, disease modelling, new optical imaging techniques to treat brain disease, and blast-proof materials.

In addition, we play a pivotal role in the Institute for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IDSAI), the Global Systems Institute (GSI), the Living Systems Institute (LSI) and the Environment and Sustainability Institute (ESI).
