We're a proudly diverse and dynamic Law School with a teaching heritage stretching back 100 years. Today, we welcome postgraduate students from a wide range of backgrounds onto our cutting-edge, career-focused Masters degrees.

English Language requirements vary between the level you are studying and the type of programme. We accept a range of tests including IELTS, but we do also consider several other English Language tests or qualifications. Details of these tests, as well as the required scores, can be found here. On this page, you can also find the section 'Other ways of meeting English Requirements'.

Postgraduate taught applications are submitted directly to the University, via our online portal. You can also apply from the individual programme page (usually on the right top-hand side under the title 'Apply online'). Once you have made an application you will receive an Exeter ID number. This is obtained by making an application to study at the University. Please note, that it will generally take up to two working days to receive your acknowledgement email (including the ID number) after submitting an application.
