Taru is no stranger to postgraduate study or studying abroad. She grew up in India and completed her Masters in the UK in 2021. When Taru’s not writing, she’s often found reading fiction. She really does spend a lot of her day dealing with words! Her bookshelf is very varied — her five-star reads as of August 2025 include both Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir (science-fiction) and Beach Read by Emily Henry (romance).
