The ECT Academic Excellence Scholarship

Scholarship details

The scholarship is applicable only to the programme specified in your Letter of Offer. The scholarship discount is distributed evenly across the total number of programme modules and applied per study period; it is not provided as a lump-sum payment. The scholarship covers tuition fees only and does not cover non-tuition fees or any additional expenses.

To retain the scholarship, recipients must successfully pass all units in each semester or study period. Failure to meet academic requirements may result in withdrawal of the scholarship. The scholarship will also be forfeited if the student defers or withdraws from their programme, unless otherwise approved by ECT. The award may be forfeited in cases of academic misconduct, unpaid tuition fees, or if the student is deemed to be “at risk” during their studies.

The scholarship is non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be reinstated once revoked. It will not extend beyond the normal duration of the programme or exceed the total tuition fees payable. Where Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is granted, the scholarship will apply only to the remaining units for which tuition fees are payable.

Students may apply for multiple scholarships; however, only one scholarship may be awarded at any one time. Scholarship recipients must consent to ECT using their name, photograph and/or testimonial for promotional and marketing purposes. All information provided as part of the scholarship application must be true, complete and accurate.

Acceptance of the scholarship constitutes agreement to these terms and conditions and confirms the recipient's commitment to comply with all applicable ECT policies and requirements.
