This is an award of up to £5,000 per year for up to a maximum of four years, for prospective new international undergraduate and postgraduate students. Successful recipients will have the award deducted from their tuition fees.
This scholarship is awarded at the discretion of the University in recognition of an applicant’s achievements (academic and / or extra-curricular) and their potential contribution to student life and the University community.
To be eligible you must:
- Be classified as an international (overseas) fee paying student by Abertay University.
- Hold an offer to study on a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree, on campus, at Abertay in the 2026/27 or 2027/28 academic year.
- Have met all academic conditions attached to your offer of admission for entry to the University as a new full-time student.
- The award will contribute to each year of degree, up to a maximum of four years, while you are studying in Dundee.
Students who are admitted with Advanced Entry into Year 2 or above of an undergraduate programme, and who meet the above conditions, will also be eligible for this award.
No separate application form is required, and you will be assessed for the scholarship based on your application for study and your personal statement. If you meet all the eligibility criteria and are awarded the Dean's Scholarship, you will be notified by us by email following your offer of study. Please continue to check your inbox once you have received your offer of study from Abertay.
