Eligibility
To be eligible you must meet the conditions set out above and the programme and residency conditions as follows:
- Be domiciled in Mexico, Kenya or Thailand at the time of application to study at Abertay.
- Applicants from Kenya or Thailand are eligible to apply if they have an offer for any of the following postgraduate taught programmes:
- MSc Environment and Energy
- MSc Food Quality and Safety with Industrial Practise
- MSc Food Quality, Safety and Innovation
- MSc Water and Environmental Management
Applicants from Mexico are eligible to apply if they have an offer for any of our postgraduate taught programme.
This Award is not available to currently registered postgraduate students.
This £10,000 award is open to all prospective new international taught postgraduate students from Mexico, Kenya or Thailand and who:
- Are classified as International (Overseas) fee status by Abertay University and meet the residency conditions and programme requirements below.
- Are applying for postgraduate study with the equivalent of a UK 2:1 Bachelors degree equivalent or better (approximately 60% and above).
- Are studying on campus in Dundee.
Successful recipients will have the award deducted from their tuition fees.
Please send a 250-word statement outlining your understanding of the GREAT scholarship requirements and your motivation for studying at Abertay University to international@abertay.ac.uk with the subject 'Application for GREAT scholarship at Abertay University'. Please include your Student ID number.
