Scholarship details

Self-funded International students with Indian, Nigerian and Pakistani nationality, who study a full-time postgraduate taught course from the academic year September 2025-2026 are eligible for up to £3,000 scholarship in the form of a tuition fee discount.

There is no need to apply for this scholarship separately as your eligibility will be assessed on application.

The tuition fee scholarship will be applied at enrolment, should you be successful in your application to your chosen course.

*Note that these scholarships are available for on-campus study in Glasgow and London only
Please note this scholarship is only available to self-funded students and applies to your first year of study only. You are deemed to be a self-funded student if you are paying your tuition fees yourself or with support from a relative or friend
If you are sponsored by an employer or company this discount does not apply and will be removed.
Distance Learning or Part time and Research courses are not eligible for this discount

There is an additional opportunity for students with Indian, Nigerian and Pakistani nationality who have a strong academic background and can demonstrate their commitment to study through their statement of purpose, or who have a strong score in one of the GCU- approved English Language tests.

In this case, you may be eligible for an additional £1,000 scholarship over and above the New to GCU Postgraduate Scholarship described above, to a total of £4,000 as a scholarship in the form of a tuition fee discount.
