The Department of Computer Science and Creative Technologies combines the rigour of computer science with a deep understanding of the impact of digital technology and engagement with the challenges and opportunities it presents. Part of our work focuses on user-centred approaches to IT and technology - ensuring that technology meets the needs of those for whom it is intended.

OUR COURSES

Our postgraduate courses are flexibly structured and allow for both full-time and part-time study. This flexibility caters for those who wish to continue their professional development whilst remaining in full-time employment, as well as for those looking to further their qualifications on a full-time basis. Some modules may also be taken as short courses and our MSc Software Engineering is available entirely by distance learning.

OUR COLLABORATIONS

We adopt a partnership and collaboration approach with regard to teaching and learning, research and knowledge exchange, professional development and international work and so this could be the start of many invaluable connections.

This strong multicultural mix, particularly at postgraduate level, makes for an interesting and lively student experience.
