The University of Surrey gives postgraduate students the opportunity to continue their studies in an environment dedicated to academic excellence, in a faculty renowned for its pioneering spirit. Students can specialise within a range of subjects covered by the faculty’s five schools:

Ethos
Our practical approach to study revolves around ‘learning by doing’, with the prime objective of every course being to equip students with the skills they need to thrive in the workplace. Facilities
The Faculty boasts state-of-the-art facilities which provide unique opportunities for postgraduate students. Examples include the UK’s only environmental wind tunnel, radiation detection and monitoring laboratories, a ground-station for monitoring satellites and super-computers for advanced mathematical modelling. Surrey is also home to one of the UK’s only fully operational pilot chemical processing plants, demonstrating all of the main functions of a real-world industrial plant.
