About Politecnico di Milano

Politecnico di Milano promotes the culture of sustainable development in all its institutional activities, in teaching and research. Working in partnership with society and helping it to achieve sustainable development goals at global, national and local levels is an integral component of the mission of the University that has been working with growing commitment for many years on at least four fronts: environmental sustainability, promotion of responsible research, international cooperation for development and equal opportunities.

There are many services provided to international students. A dedicated Welcome Week in the main campuses in Milan is organised at the beginning of the Academic Year, so that they can immediately start to make new friends and enjoy their stay; a Welcome Desk in all the Campuses support our international students throughout their stay in Italy. International students will easily discover the campus and organise their activities, especially if they choose to have a buddy, guiding them before their arrival and in the first few months of their studies. Politecnico di Milano is a public university, funded by the Italian government. Therefore tuition fees are affordable and amount to about 3,900 Euros a year. For students of the European Economic area, tuition fees might be lower, depending on the family income.

It is possible to work for the administration of Politecnico di Milano for up to 200 hours a year, this is a part-time job fully compatible with lessons.
