Grow creatively and professionally with a postgraduate degree from UAL

Expand your creative horizons as part of University of the Arts London (UAL), Europe’s largest postgraduate arts and design community. UAL’s six Colleges offer over 100 postgraduate courses across the fields of art, design, screen, communication, fashion, media and performing arts.

Join us at an Open Day to find out more about our creative postgraduate courses.

Whatever your chosen discipline, studying with UAL at postgraduate level allows you to grow creatively and professionally within a nurturing network of staff and students. You will develop the knowledge, skills and experience to realise personal ambitions and to find your own individual style.

Make a living doing what you love

Postgraduate study at UAL gives you the chance to explore new creative directions and expand your knowledge through experimentation and discovery. The experience will open up a world of opportunities to help you shape your career or take you down a different path entirely.

The Careers and Employability service at UAL supports the creative and commercial potential of postgraduate students. They work closely with each College to deliver a range of tailored workshops and other activities that make sure students graduate with the skills they need to succeed.

When you leave you will take with you a network of highly trained creative people, who will keep you motivated and connected to the creative industries and your field of practice. As a graduate of UAL you’ll join an alumni network of sector-leading creatives, celebrated with awards ranging from the Turner Prize to the Oscars.

The UAL Post-Grad Community

UAL’s Post-Grad Community is a programme that provides access to cross-College and cross-disciplinary opportunities, events and networking. The programme gives students from across UAL access to events and opportunities outside of their course curriculum.

You will be able to collaborate with other postgraduate students working in completely different ways to you, in a stimulating environment full of opportunities. Events take place at UAL and further afield, and include talks with industry specialists, visits to artists’ studios, curator-led tours and student-led activity.
