Postgraduate Study at the University of Chester
The University of Chester provides a wide and flexible range of postgraduate and post-experience courses designed to meet the needs of prospective students. In today's rapidly changing world our postgraduate qualifications can provide valuable career and personal development opportunities and help you build on your experience and current skills.
We offer a broad choice of professional, internationally recognised postgraduate qualifications incorporating taught degrees, research degrees and professional doctorates. Our courses are available in flexible full-time and part-time study options.
We recognise that some students already have proven academic or work-based experience, and we have processes in place that may be able to help you to claim credit for prior learning.
Our postgraduate learning and research facilities are located on our five Chester sites: Parkgate Road Campus, Riverside Campus, Kingsway Campus, Queen's Park Campus and Thornton Science Park, as well as our Warrington Campus and University Centre Shrewsbury.
Postgraduate Open Days
We have Postgraduate Open Days in February and June for courses at our Chester campuses, and in October for our Warrington Campus. At each event you will be able to speak to academic staff regarding their courses, as well as finding out about postgraduate finance, and the application process. You can find out more information and book your place on our Postgraduate Open Days page.
Postgraduate Department Visits
Throughout the year we hold various department-specific postgraduate events. Whether it's a Taster Day or Open Evening you will have the opportunity to visit the department and find out about their postgraduate courses. We currently have events for our Faculty of Business and Management, Faculty of Education and Children's Services, and our Department of Theology and Religious Studies. You can find out more about these events and book your place on our Postgraduate Department Visits page.
If you are unable to make a Postgraduate Open Day or Department Visit event, then please contact us regarding an individual campus tour.
