Department / School information and available programmes:

Our strong tradition of innovation and excellence in teaching dates as far back as 1865. The foundations of our University were laid by John Henry Brookes, whose period as Principal (1934-1956) saw the establishment of many of the academic Schools now at the heart of the University.

The Business School is one of the largest Schools at Oxford Brookes University, with over 150 academic staff, more than 2,000 undergraduates and over 500 postgraduate and research students. It has built up an international reputation through its study programmes, research and consultancy.

The Business School:

·attracts students from over 100 countries and offers some distance learning programmes
