The campus is a vibrant place with a wide variety of activities open to all our students. We, here in Maynooth University, believe strongly in providing the total experience for our students. This includes a strong and innovative academic experience as well as providing various activities that help the personal development of our students.

The Office of Student Engagement aims to ensure that our students have as strong a start as possible to their university journey whilst encouraging them to avail of the many opportunities open to them. The Office develop and support initiatives and opportunities in the areas of community engagement, and student leadership.

No, it is important to check the closing date of the programme(s) you wish to apply for. Most programmes close for applications on the 30 June however, there are some programmes that close much earlier. Check our course finder pages for the programme closing date.

For candidates who do not meet the academic entry requirements, a taught postgraduate qualification is still an option at Maynooth University. Through its Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPEL) policy, Maynooth University acknowledges the value of labour market participation to life-long education. Our RPEL policy facilitates a review of the professional skills and relevant life experience of the individual, particularly for applicants with professional qualifications or a level 7 degree.
