We are committed to providing the best facilities for our students. This starts with our £80m investment into a new state-of-the-art hub, for our Creative Arts courses. The new facilities will include TV, film and music production studios, a performance theatre and a Dolby Atmos movie cinema.
We’ve also invested £45m into a new home for the Carnegie School of Sport. This hub will be home to our highly specialist teaching and research facilities as well as acting as a base for elite athletes, sports and industry partners.
Our commitment to providing modern and outstanding facilities doesn’t stop there, with a further £75m being invested into our campus within the next five years.
In addition to this, we’ve been awarded a five-star rating for our existing facilities by QS Stars University Rankings. This includes are 24/7 libraries, which boasts over 200,000 resources available online. This means you can study at a time, and a place, that suits you.
As one of the most vibrant and eclectic places in the UK, it’s no surprise that Leeds is home to over 70,000 students. From our range of high street and boutique shopping arcades, or our electric nightlife to the serene open spaces and parks throughout the city, Leeds caters for all.
It benefits from a compact city centre which means getting around on foot is easy, but that doesn’t mean the city is small. Leeds can boast that it’s home to one of the biggest parks in Europe, Roundhay Park.
