To support the growth of talented young architects, Yacademy provides a total of 8 scholarships per course along with other funding opportunities. Scholarships are awarded with 90% coverage of the tuition fee to the top 3 candidates for each course, and with 50% coverage to those ranked from 4th to 8th place, according to the evaluation of the Selection Committee. Yacademy’s premises are located in the historical city centre of Bologna, a medieval town of unparalleled charm and rich in cultural events. With an airport connected to major European cities, and located just a stone’s throw from Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan, Bologna is the ideal place from which to set out to discover Italian and European wonders.

Classes usually take place 3 days a week, and the programme includes visits to hidden gems often close to the public.

To foster connection, students will also have the opportunity to talk informally with the renowned professionals and lecturers during toasts, or by inviting them to the Yacademy Podcast for a more intimate and personal conversation.

At the end of the course, the projects developed during the design workshop, the students’ contributions published on the Students’ Blog, as well as other experiences lived during the course will be collected in a printed publication, the Yacademy Magazine, which represents an excellent showcase for the school’s partner institutions and companies.
