About the Faculty of Business and Social Science

The Faculty of Business and Social Sciences offers a modern and interdisciplinary learning environment were academic meets practical relevance. Teaching is supported by strong research centres and close collaboration with external partners across the public, private and non-profit sectors.

Students study in an international academic community that encourages collaboration, debate and diverse perspectives. A wide range of English-taught master’s programmes enables students to specialise in areas such as business administration, economics, sustainability, public management, political science, law and international relations.

The Faculty of Business and Social Sciences is based on SDU campuses in Odense, Esbjerg, Kolding and Sønderborg, all student-friendly cities offering affordable housing, green spaces and vibrant cultural life within easy reach of campus.

English is widely spoken in Denmark, helping international students quickly feel at home. At SDU, more than 100 student associations offer a wide variety of academic, social and recreational activities, creating a strong sense of community.
