About the FERRANDI Paris

FERRANDI Paris is a Culinary and Hospitality school, member of the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles (CGE), that trains the elite in gastronomy and hospitality to be actors of renewal in France and abroad.

FERRANDI Paris was created more than 100 years ago, as a higher education establishment (EESC) belonging to CCI Paris Ile-de-France Education.
The school has several generations of distinguished chefs and culinary and hospitality managers to its name, known for their signature culinary works and talent for innovation.

Recognised for its level of excellence in all places and at all times, the school training courses focused on:

More than a school, FERRANDI Paris is a space of discovery, inspiration and exchange that blends cuisine, management, art, science, technology and innovation. It unites the greatest names in the sector around the challenges of renewal in the hospitality industry and culinary creativity.

A standard-bearer of the French art of hospitality and a member of the Interdepartmental Council of Tourism, the Atout France Strategic Committee and the Conference of Excellence in Tourism, the school attracts students from all over the world every year.

At FERRANDI Paris, individual support is essential: from integration seminars to the educational platform for sharing courses and working with teachers in a collaborative mode, to the permanent presence on campus of a nurse, or access to a media library and a multimedia room. Student life at FERRANDI Paris also includes help in finding a grant, housing, partner banks, etc.

Spaces for sharing and living at FERRANDI Paris:

  • A student area and cafeteria offering snacks and drinks throughout the day
  • The student office, which organises parties and afterworks outside the school, develops partnerships with local businesses and looks after the school's vegetable garden!
  • A media library, work spaces, an e-learning and intranet platform
  • A sports hall, a gymnasium and a sports association that organises courses and tournaments to relax after class
  • Classrooms with digital equipment

Applications are reviewed by an admissions committee made up of program staff and chef-instructors. If the admission committee’s evaluation of the application is favorable, an interview will be organized with a member of the program staff or a chef-instructor.

Paris Campus - FERRANDI does not have on-campus housing in Paris. Our students rent or share apartments in Paris or opt for a homestay (renting a room with a French family). Admitted candidates will receive a list of qualified contacts to assist them with their housing search (real estate agents, companies specialized in student housing, ads from landlords, companies who offer homestays, useful websites …).

It is possible to work on weekends. Students who hold a student visa are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week. However, we do not recommend that students work during the training. Scheduling a part-time job around the course schedule on weekdays is often difficult. Note that speaking French is often a requirement to find a job in Paris.

There are no scholarships or financial aid possibilities available at FERRANDI Paris. Here are the different options you can evaluate to finance your program: How to finance your training.
