As part of this programme, Oliver West participated in the Sustainable Lifestyles Venture (SLV) project. Meet Jeanne Duprez, an alumna of ESCP’s MSEI programme. Originally from France, Jeanne's academic journey took her to the Netherlands, where she pursued hospitality management before her interest evolved towards sustainability. We spoke to Leopoldo Angelini, a passionate entrepreneur and a 2023 graduate of the Master in Sustainability Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MSEI). Since graduating in 2019, Theresa Gerdes has built her career at BearingPoint, a management and technology consultancy, where she now leads global SAP sustainability projects. Since joining the firm, she has worked on a variety of topics at the intersection of IT transformation and sustainability, developing innovative digital solutions for carbon accounting, decarbonization, and sustainable business processes. From the fashion industry to the field of sustainability, Marei von Goetz’s journey marks a meaningful change in purpose. Having seen firsthand the environmental impact of fashion, she chose the MSc in International Sustainability Management (2017–2019) to align her career with her values. Today, at Save the Children, Marei uses the knowledge and global mindset gained at ESCP to advance corporate responsibility and champion children’s rights worldwide.

Jingran Zhang’s journey from linguistics to fintech illustrates the transformative power of a strategic specialised master’s degree, cross-disciplinary ambition, and curiosity. After her bachelor degree in French, she launched an e-commerce venture in China, and then joined the Master in Strategy and Digital Business to formalise her business knowledge and pivot into tech. Five years later, she’s a product manager in enterprise tokenization at a Berlin-based fintech firm, applying the strategic, technical, and cross-cultural skills gained during her studies.

Amit joined ESCP in 2018 with a clear entrepreneurial track record—he had already founded and run a solar venture after completing an engineering Bachelor degree. Looking to add a unique dimension to his profile, he started the Master in Strategy and Digital Business (MSDB) to gain structured business training, global management insights, and exposure to a European entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Five years after graduating, Amit continues to bridge sustainability impact with entrepreneurship in his work as an Incubation Manager at Niterra Ventures, where he helps build new ventures in the energy and mobility sectors and evaluates startups for strategic investment. Valeria Sklyarova, an alumna from the MSc in International Sales Management has built an impressive career in sales and revenue growth since graduating in 2019.
