Each program has specific admission requirements, but most indicate they will accept a “comparable honours degree/certification” or “exceptional experience/expertise as a practicing artist, designer, critic or curator” when an applicant does not have the degree type indicated. However, it is important to remember that the application process can be highly competitive.

All in-person programs have a dedicated studio or study space for their students to work in.

All applications must be submitted through the Graduate Application Portal.

If you have any questions about your application, please email gradadmissions@ocadu.ca and allow three business days for a reply. We appreciate your patience.

Once your application has been successfully submitted through the Graduate Application Portal, you will receive an official email acknowledging that your application has been received. Only complete applications will be reviewed by our Admissions Committees.
