About the Saïd Business School

Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford blends the best of old and new. We are a young, vibrant, and entrepreneurial business school, deeply embedded in a world-leading university.

We deliver cutting-edge education and ground-breaking research that transform individuals, organisations, business practice, and society.

We educate people for successful business careers and, as a community, we seek to harness our collective expertise and knowledge to help solve pressing global issues such as demographic change, natural resource scarcity and technological challenges.

Our participants are challenged to think expansively:

  • What are the rules of the game: how do written and unwritten rules affect the performance of business?
  • What types of organisations, whether high growth, high impact, or high scale, will fundamentally change the business landscape?
  • How do we map the trends that will define the future of business?
  • How do we educate and energise a community that can address these huge issues?

Oxford is known for its vibrant community and unique interdisciplinary approach to learning.

You will belong to one of the University’s 39 autonomous colleges. Each has a self-governing academic community of students and faculty with its own distinctive history and identity.

The collegiate system allows you to connect with students from other disciplines and opportunities to participate in a lively intellectual community.

Our class sizes are kept small and you will have access to the University's Bodleian Libraries for an in-depth, immensely rewarding learning experience.

Oxford Saïd’s two locations, Park End Street and Egrove Park, provide you with the opportunity to learn amongst first-class facilities.

'EMBA is not just a programme – it is an experience and journey. The sessions and modules are meant to guide and enable us to broaden our views and thoughts, which in turn allow us to generate revolutionary objectives and big ideas. The Oxford platform (in which I broadly include the cohort, faculty, SBS, Foundry, Colleges, alumni network etc.) is so extensive that if we are determined, ideas can become reality.’

‘I’ve been leveraging my time at Saïd to network with researchers across the university – from think tanks to cutting edge technical labs – which has added immediate value to my current role and for broader interests, opening up quite a few useful connections and future opportunities. For those that join the EMBA programme, I’d highly recommend exploring the wider academic/research
community; this will certainly add value, but also help you deepen your long-term ties to this amazing place.’

‘The Executive MBA is already proving to be a true voyage of discovery and journey of a lifetime. I have met incredible and inspiring people. The cohort comes from different walks of life, in a wide range of industry backgrounds that fosters rich conversation and discourse. We are benefiting from the brilliant minds of the teaching staff, who challenge and provoke us
to think bigger and bolder, all wrapped up within the world’s best university. I can already see the positive impact that the Executive MBA is having on my work and personal life. It’s allowing me to not only elevate my thinking but accelerate my understanding of business through a truly global view.’

‘I picked Oxford because I wanted to attend a university, not just a business school. At my college dinners, I would meet students and alumni from different walks of life, I would argue for or against controversial motions at the Oxford Union where authentic debate takes precedence over political correctness, and I would take pleasure in learning about the lives and successes of my classmates.’
