About the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy

As one of the largest UK university faculties focusing on policy-orientated research, the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy is committed to advancing social science scholarship to help tackle some of the most important social, political and ethics issues of our time.

We take an international approach to advancing social science scholarship. We have world-leading expertise across the social sciences and our teaching and research community includes politicians, business leaders, policy makers, activists and teachers in London, the UK, Europe and internationally, whilst our students come from over 100 countries.

We offer postgraduate courses across a wide range of areas:

MA STEM Education scholarships offer the chance to cover 70% of the tuition fees.

Applications are open for up to 13 scholarships to study for an MA in STEM Education. Funded by WIPRO Limited, the scholarships are open to current practicing teachers.

Eligibility

To be considered for a scholarship, on time of application, applicants must:

- Work in a state-funded school in England (e.g. comprehensive, academy, free school). Including, primary, secondary and FE-levels.

- Be a specialist teacher in: Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Design and Technology or Geography.

- Have been teaching for a minimum of 6 months on application.

- Have submitted an application for the MA in STEM Education.

A reference of support should accompany the application from a senior staff member outlining the benefits they envisage and the nature of the support they are offering (e.g. financial, study support).
