About the School of Mathematics

The breadth of our MSc offering allows you to choose a programme that will help you launch your career in industry or continue into research. On all of our programmes, you will develop your existing skillset and expand your network. Whether you want to work in data science, technology, finance, consultancy, or academia, our MSc programmes will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need.

You will be taught by expert academics who are conducting leading research in their field, and our wide range of available courses allows you to tailor your degree to suit your interests. We have excellent connections with industry, and for some programmes offer the opportunity to complete your dissertation in collaboration with organisations and work on real-life problems. Weekly employability events are hosted to support your development, ranging from CV writing support and networking advice, to alumni career showcases and presentations from popular employers.
