Interested in writing for a professional website? Looking to reach new audiences? Keen to share your postgraduate study experiences and help future students?
How about the chance to do all three?
We're looking for more people to help offer new insights and advice here on the FindAMasters blog. Could you be one of them?
We've been helping students search for Masters degrees and providing funding information and postgraduate guides since 2005.
In 2016 we took the next step and set up this blog as a way to offer more advice, on more topics and to stay on top of the news stories that matter to current and future Masters students.
So far, we've covered everything from postgraduate jobs and funding calendars to advice on going abroad for a Masters and insights into what postgraduate study is actually like.
Along the way we've also explored other topics like Masters loans, student welfare and the impact of Brexit on postgraduate study.
Now we're looking for more contributors with stories to tell about postgraduate study, or different viewpoints to share.
You could be:
... or anyone else with something to offer an audience of future postgraduate students.
We want the experience of blogging for us to be fun, flexible and rewarding.
Posts don't have to be long (we tend to publish pieces at around 700-1,000 words) and topics don't need to be reinvent the internet (that would make a mess).
Most importantly, you don't need to be an established blogger or even be an experienced writer. Our Content Team will offer feedback and advice to get the best out of your ideas and make your FindAMasters blogs something to be proud of.
There's also no ongoing commitment and no deadlines. We're always interested in hearing more from our bloggers, but we know that postgraduate study is demanding.
Sadly, we can't write your dissertation for you, but we can offer the following:
Sound like something you'd be interested in? Well then...
Getting started as a FindAMasters guest-blogger is simple.
You don't need to submit a formal application, you don't need to send a CV and you don't need to send us a completed article.
In fact, you don't necessarily need to have a topic in mind.
All you need to do is get in touch with us at: editor[at]findamasters.com
Use your email to say a little bit about yourself and what you're studying (or interested in studying). If you have a post to suggest, go for it. If you don't, we'll work with you to think of something. And if you have any other questions about blogging for FindAMasters - just ask.
