Kent Business School are pleased to offer one AMBA Diamond MBA Scholarship for the academic year 2027/28.
The AMBA Diamond MBA Scholarship has been established in recognition of the 60th anniversary of the Association of MBAs.
The scholarship will be awarded to a candidate who can demonstrate how their professional experience, leadership ambitions or future plans align with AMBA’s priorities, including women in leadership, equality, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability.
The successful scholar may be expected to contribute to relevant activities during their studies, such as supporting MBA events, sharing their experience with prospective students or contributing to initiatives connected with leadership, inclusion or sustainability.
This scholarship is open to UK and International applicants.
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must:
Have applied for the University of Kent MBA for 2027 entry
Hold a formal offer to study the MBA at Kent Business School
Be able to demonstrate their commitment to areas aligned with AMBA’s priorities, including women in leadership, equality, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability
Applications will be assessed by the Scholarships Panel. Successful applicants will be notified by email in August 2027.
If selected, the applicant must:
Have no outstanding conditions attached to their offer
Confirm acceptance of the scholarship within 10 working days of receiving the offer
Overseas applicants should have paid the required fee deposit within 10 working days of accepting the scholarship
If these requirements are not met, the scholarship may be withdrawn and offered to another candidate.
Applicants can apply for an AMBA Diamond MBA scholarship once they have received a formal offer to study the MBA at the University of Kent for 2027 entry.
Applicants will need to submit a Word or PDF document, to be uploaded with their scholarship application answering the questions below. Please complete all questions, including each question as a header with your answer below. Your responses should be no more than 250 words per question:
1. Please tell us how you demonstrate strength, precision and excellence within your chosen career.
2. Tell us about a time when you have had to withstand pressure, see with clarity and remain focused on what holds value over time.
3. How have you demonstrated capacity for growth in your professional roles?
4. How are you committed to using your business education to make a positive impact on others?
Applications received from candidates not applying for the MBA course will automatically be rejected.
Applicants may apply for up to three of the University of Kent MBA scholarship’s being advertised for 2027/2028. However, only one scholarship may be awarded to each applicant, and scholarships cannot be combined with any other scholarship or fee reduction.
