We understand that the cost of pursuing higher education can be a significant concern for many students and their families. The KAUST Fellowship is designed to ensure you can focus entirely on your studies and research, with the peace of mind that comes from comprehensive financial support. All admitted students automatically receive the KAUST Fellowship, meaning you can pursue your postgraduate degree without the burden of tuition fees and living expenses.
The Fellowship typically covers:
• Full tuition and bench fees (worth up to USD $35,000 per year)
• Monthly stipend (worth around USD $20,000 per year for M.S. students, and USD $25,000–$30,000 per year for Ph.D. students, depending on qualifications and academic progress)
• On-campus housing (worth around USD $7,000 per year, including utilities such as electricity and Wi-Fi)
• Health insurance (worth around USD $1,450 per year)
• Relocation support (visa, relocation and travel costs)
In total, the value of the KAUST Fellowship is typically estimated at USD $70,000–$80,000 per year, depending on your individual circumstances.
