Award: 1 full fee waiver covering 100% of the tuition fees for the full duration of the course + €28,000 stipend as a contribution to living expenses.
EU/UK Applicants: 1 full fee waiver + €28,000 stipend

In both cases, applicants must already have applied to the course online and be holding an offer of a place on the MSc Artificial Intelligence for Weather & Climate Change.

Applications for scholarships will only be considered once the full course application and associated fee payment has been completed. Only those who have been offered a place on the course will be eligible for a scholarship.

Scholarship Application: UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics MSc Scholarship applications should be made via email to aimsir@ucd.ie and must include transcripts, CV, names of two referees and a personal statement.
Decision Timeline: The scholarships will be awarded by a committee in the School of Mathematics & Statistics faculty based on academic excellence and student fit to the MSc programme.
All non-EU applicants to our course are assessed on the basis of their academic record for a UCD International Student Scholarship, which cover part of tuition fees, as part of the application process, and no separate application is required for this. The UCD Global Excellence Scholarships offer 50% or 100% waivers of tuition fees for non-EU application and must be applied for separately.
Once the full course application and associated fee payment have been completed, UCD School of Mathematics and Statistics MSc Scholarship applications should be made via email to aimsir@ucd.ie. Scholarship application emails must include transcripts, CV, names of two referees and a personal statement.
