“The application process was straightforward. Necessary documents were mentioned clearly, and the entrance exam was good. I was living in Manchester, here in the UK at the time of application, however the support of the University was really good for others who were abroad.

Preston is a nice place to live. It is a student friendly city, and you can find all your necessary needs near the campus.

For me the course is amazing. I have practised dentistry for a long time but in a different system. Here I am learning the local concepts and standards and I am familiarising myself with a new professional life. It is also very good for me to review the theoretical science of dentistry and learn the most recent updates in different fields of dentistry.

"Both the online and face-to-face parts of the course are well organised and tailored to our learning demands. All the course material is accessible online. The clinic and phantom head facilities are also great.

The most important part of this course to me is having a group of amazing clinical tutors. They are so kind and caring and I really like the way they interact with us as international dentists.

Once I graduate, I hope I can apply for a postgraduate course in dental implants. I would also like to work as a clinical teacher in the University because I am interested in teaching, and I have good experience in that.

I would recommend the Bachelor of Dental Surgery – International Route to any internationally qualified dentist who wishes to live and work in the UK. This route is far more effective than the routine exams and it provides competency to practise here in a different system.”
