The University of Cumbria’s postgraduate courses are based at either Lancaster, London, Ambleside or Carlisle, with some courses available to study entirely online.
Courses and Qualifications
The University is made up of four academic institutes:

There are four different varieties of postgraduate degrees available:
- Masters (MA, MSc or MBA)
- Postgraduate Diploma (PgDip)
- Postgraduate Certificate (PgC)
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Accommodation
The University provides two forms of accommodation: halls of residence and university-managed houses.
Halls of residence are conveniently located, well equipped and maintained. There are over 1,000 rooms available with a range of en-suite and shared facilities and cost, on average, £10 per night.
Facilities
To accommodate the University’s many subjects, their campuses boast a large range of facilities; some are subject specific while others are more general. The facilities are modern and provide everything you need to explore your subject through practice based and applied research methods.

Home to two campuses, Brampton Road and Fusehill Street, Carlisle is a lively city that blends a dynamic range of amenities with a long and cultural heritage. With many bars, restaurants, shops and clubs, the city is a fun place to call home.
Lancaster is a vibrant location that has so much to see and do. With many places to eat, drink, meet friends and relax, the city provides an endless amount of activities.
Combining charming teashops, places to eat, an independent cinema and a number of bars, Ambleside is located at the heart of the Lake District National Park, making it a great place to live and study.
The University also offers a selection of postgraduate courses from its London campus, which is just a 10-minute walk from the inspirational Canary Wharf.
