MSc Health Psychology

Run jointly with University College London, the programme provides a thorough grounding in the main findings, theories and methods in Health Psychology. It also provides an opportunity to examine the applicability of psychological interventions in this area. The degree is accredited by the British Psychological Society as Part 1 training towards registration as a Chartered Health Psychologist. You will develop skills in critical appraisal of existing research, hypothesis formulation, study design, ethics, data gathering, research management, data analysis and writing research reports. Teaching will involve a mixture of lectures, classroom practical’s, computer practicals, and structured yet flexible home study.

Please note that OVERSEAS STUDENTS who currently work in either South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust or King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, are eligible for Home fee status. Students must have worked in one of the above Trusts for at least one year.
