Postgraduate Open Evening


The Geography Department will have a stand at the forthcoming Postgraduate Open Evenings which are your chance to find out more about the Postgraduate Taught and Research programmes available to you in the Geography department.

The event is taking place on Monday 8 February and 15 February in the Palatine Centre between 4.30pm and 8pm. The programme of talks and drop-in Information Fair give you the opportunity to discuss your options with current staff and current postgraduate students will be available to tell you of their experience as well as a few freebies on our stand!

Open Evening at Digital Design Studio, Tuesday 26 May 2015

An opportunity to visit Digital Design Studio at their premises on Pacific Quay, Glasgow and chat with the lecturers involved with our Masters programmes:

MSc in Medical Visualisation and Human Anatomy
M.Des in Sound for the Moving Image
MSc in Visualisation (International Heritage)
MSc in Visualisation (Serious Games)

Academic Staff will be available from 1730hrs to 1930hrs that evening to meet with students interested in these programmes. Additionally we will include a short demonstration of our 3D capability in our purpose-built laboratory.

Alliance Manchester Business School - Master's Information Sessions


We are hosting a series of informal lunchtime information sessions for undergraduates who are thinking about pursuing a master’s course at Alliance MBS.

- Wednesday 17 February 2016, 12.00 – 1.30pm
- Wednesday 9 March 2016, 12.00 – 1.30pm
- Wednesday 13 April 2016, 12.00 – 1.30pm
- Wednesday 11 May 2016, 12.00 – 1.30pm

We have 17 courses to choose from - from business analysis to operations, and marketing to finance. Some courses (such as the finance-related ones) require a specific background and others are a conversion to their subject area. Join us to meet staff and current students and discover how our courses can boost your career prospects.

Also, a number of graduates have the opportunity to progress directly onto the Full-time MBA as a Young Potential Leader – could you be one of them?

Environmental Masters Open Day


Come along to one of our taster open days to find out more about the environmental masters courses on offer at the Centre for Alternative Technology’s Graduate School of the Environment.
