Do you want to expand and improve your knowledge and skills necessary for understanding studies which use neuroimaging techniques? Do you design, set up and analyse experimental neuroimaging projects?
Do you need a flexible learning approach to fit around your other commitments?
Then Neuroimaging for Research is the Programme for you!
The Programme:
*Gives a broad overview of how neuroimaging techniques have helped advance the understanding and treatment of brain disorders.
*Presents information on the physics of key imaging techniques.
*Describes various image processing methods and common approaches such as lesion size measurement.
*Discusses practical neuroimaging aspects and key health & safety issues.
*Discusses key points of relevance between experimental model imaging and human imaging.
Our Programme is unique!
It allows for flexible learning because it is delivered part-time and entirely on line so that you can learn anywhere, anytime.
A professional team of neuroimaging experts and elearning technologists will support your progress through a mixture of online tuition, multimedia interactive learning materials, peer-to-peer discussion and independent study.
We not only provide a cutting edge theoretical grounding in neuroimaging but also allow you to apply your knowledge via a bespoke imaging library and questionnaire tool developed by the Division of Clinical Neurosciences team, which provides a multitude of real life examples of images with patient data.
All you require is a commitment of around 15-20 hours per week and appropriate access to a networked computer.
