About the course
The discovery, development and application of advanced materials is at the heart of engineering innovation. Informed by our close research collaborations with industry we are developing the next generation of talented materials scientists and engineers. With a fundamental interest in materials science, the MSc in Advanced Materials: Engineering and Industrial Applications course will develop your understanding of materials’ properties, selection, processing and advanced design procedures.
Entry Requirements
We welcome applications from talented individuals of all backgrounds and each application is considered on its individual merit. Usually applicants must hold:
A UK lower second-class (2:2) undergraduate degree with honours, as a minimum, or equivalent international qualification.
Ideally applicants will have studied in a relevant science, engineering or related discipline.
Applications from candidates with relevant work experience in combination with a degree that does not meet the minimum entry requirement will be considered.
