Masters in Ireland

With a history stretching back to the sixteenth-century, the Irish university system can claim a prestige equal to that of its famous neighbour, the UK. It's no surprise then that Ireland is also a popular modern study abroad destination, attracting over 11,000 international students.

As a Masters student in Ireland you'll live and study in a famously friendly and welcoming country, with a culture and heritage celebrated around the world. You'll also benefit from one of Europe's most modern and forward-thinking university systems, incorporating large research universities as well as specialised Institutes of Technology (expert technical and professional training providers). Postgraduate education is particularly popular in Ireland, with around 25% of students at public universities registered at Masters or PhD level. Whilst studying for your Masters you'll be able to discover vibrant international cities such as Dublin or explore the famous green and verdant landscapes that have earned Ireland the name of 'the Emerald Isle'.

A Masters in Ireland will usually take at least one year, with some courses running for two. The academic year in Ireland runs between September and June (excluding a summer vacation). EU and EEA students will not normally require a visa to study in Ireland.
