Masters in Czech Republic

With some of the oldest universities in Europe and famous alumni including Franz Kafka and Albert Einstein, the Czech Republic has plenty to offer postgraduate scholars. In fact, almost 40,000 international students already study in the Czech Higher education system.

As a Masters student in the Czech Republic you'll have a wide range of higher education institutions to choose from, including traditional research universities (vysoke skoly) and professional training providers (vyssi odborne skoly). Both offer postgraduate Masters degrees. Whilst studying you'll live in beautiful historic cities such as Prague, with access to the sights and attractions that have made the Czech Republic an incredibly popular tourist destination. The country's central location within Europe also makes it an excellent base from which to visit other parts of the continent, including neighbouring Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Poland.

A Masters in the Czech Republic usually takes two years (though one and three year options can be available) and the Czech academic year typically runs from September to the following August. Czech Masters programmes are sometimes offered in English, but choosing to study in Czech may make you eligible for free tuition (irrespective of nationality). EU and EEA students are eligible to study in the Czech Republic without a visa.
